Below, you will find the full list of fabrics and wallpapers featured in this window, all of which can be seen in the John Rosselli showroom on the 18th Floor of the D&D Building.
I am so proud to have been invited to display the Inchyra collection in the foyer of the historic D&D Building through July and August, to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of John Rosselli Associates.
This display reimagines the collection as a Scottish landscape, paying homage to the place where Inchyra is based and which informs so much of my design aesthetic: our home near the city of Perth, ancient capital of Scotland, and historically known as The Gateway to the Highlands. A range of upholstered peaks, each cut from a different fabric in the collection, is set against a cloudscape that started life as an oil I painted of a landscape on the west coast of Scotland.
The idea grew from the way the collection is designed, with new additions always speaking to the existing collection, each rooted in documents from the archive of antique textiles and other pieces I have collected over the years. Arranged together like this, they become something closer to landscape than textile - and proof that, just as in nature, good pattern and colour will always find harmony together.
