Hattingley derives from an 18th-century block print, discovered as a very dishevelled patchwork piece, possibly made to save and use pieces left over from the decorating of a fine house. The patchwork seems to have been intended as a bed cover by the maker. We painstakingly took the patchwork to pieces and worked to create a full printable repeat of the design. The resulting linen has been designed with ageing in the pattern and is then further softened with our ageing finish.

Colours: we endeavour to show colours as correctly as possible, however, colours can vary depending on how you are viewing our website. In addition, flat shots are notoriously difficult to show correctly, particularly whites, and it is for this reason that we include the 'lifestyle' swatch image which is likely to be the closest to the actual product.
